The Lobethal Big Draw group encompasses 10 local artists who have been immersed in drawing over a 30 day period. Their work will be exhibited in the gallery space during The Big Draw festival. The activities, exhibition and workshops are supported by H.ART and the Adelaide Hills Council.

The festival aims to engage people of all ages and abilities in a range of drawing activities to encourage creativity. Across the five week period the exhibition will also entail:

Interactive Drawing Activities

During the exhibition several interactive drawing stations will be set up. Anyone can have a go at drawing from a still life, adding to a wall mural, mark-making or participating in a zentangle.


Artists in Residence

 A number of artists will be working in the space at various times, demonstrating their art practice. Again this is to give visitors an insight into the creative process. Click the heading above for more information.



There will be a number of workshops running over the five week period, including art and yoga, life drawing, illustration and drawing/dance for kids.
